Measuring the strut diameter
This is how you measure the strut diameter of the car
When ordering a suspension kit for your car, there are numerous data that need to fit together to ensure that your car will pass inspection later on.
In some cases, we need to know the diameter of the strut. Since it won't be possible to find these data in the car's registration information, it's necessary that you, manually, measure the diameter of the vehicle's strut.
Measuring the strut is super easy - just follow this guide:
Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left or right
Now you will be able to see into the strut, thus measuring the diameter of the metal on the strut. Use a vernier calliper to measure.
The strut will either measure 50 or 55 mm.
